    I thought organized protests don’t count! So much has changed in two weeks.

    That’s not quite organizing. That is announcing a planned event. There’s a biiiiiiiiiiiiig difference. Trust one that has done both.

    Fair distinction, Cap. But I’ve still never seen it done. And not sure you’d think it was kosher if it was a pro-life march.

    I didn’t raise a stink when TMJ’s staff, on radio and in the paper, continuously promoted the teabagging event.

    Although those same people never seem to promote events that would benefit the working class people. Go figure.

    I’m all for free speech. I would just prefer everyone gets to speak, not just the ones that can afford it.

    I never saw that in the paper, Cap. And, unfortunately, I think radio is a different animal.

    Not to mention that the tea parties were Taxed Enough Already parties. If you think that the middle class is not taxed enough then by all means stop the parties. I, on the other hand think that a union guy making $80,000/year is indeed being taxed enough and while their mentality will not allow them to think that through to it’s logical end then so be it. The tea parties were party independant, taking to task all of the waste and overspending. Unfortunately, that was not the thrust of the coverage. I can assure you that if these would have cropped up during the Bush admin, you would have seen the masked anarchists show up as well.

    Elliot, I think it was your friend Preview Patty McIlheran. The only real difference between the three is the medium. They all say the same crap.


    A few things. No one on the right can even agree what the teabagging was all about. Independent would not include being sponsored by national propaganda fronts for Big Oil and the rest, like AFP is.

    The only taxes you were protesting is the 4% on the multimillionaire CEO’s
