I never thought I’d see food riots in the U.S.

Isn’t this how the French and Russian revolutions started:

Milwaukee police said they have restored order this morning but will remain outside of the Marcia P. Coggs Human Services Center after a crowd awaiting free food vouchers – which never were to be distributed – became unruly this morning.

But if you thought you would, isn’t Milwaukee the perfect place for them to start? After all, government has been unusually-good in hooking people on its teats.

This wasn’t a food riot, there wasn’t any food there.

It was a “free” riot – as in “the man” owes me, and hey, I’m not working anyway, so why not stand in line?

It wasn’t even a riot. It is worse on the Friday after Thanksgiving at any given electronics or department store, than it was at Coggs this morning.

C’mon…that wasn’t even a riot. Take a look at the photos and then tell me that was a riot.
