I learned something very important this election

Watching bloggers blog on TV is about as entertaining as watching accountants count.

    Weblogging from a number of events (CPAC, WI GOP convention) the problem is stuff is happening right before your eyes. You can either observe the event, talk with some cool person about it, or post on it. I’m glad there wasn’t wifi at Papa’s. I’m sure I had more fun talking, drinking, and complaining than if I had my notebook computer next to me.

    I think the next election webloggers will be treated as plain, old pundits. The networks won’t invite dozens of them. Instead, they’ll just put them inside the squares like every other talking head. For variety they might go to a few of them from their homes via webcam.

    That’s because we bloggers have a face for radio and a voice for the printed page (screen).
