…would the inner city in Milwaukee be in the condition it’s in if the social stigma against young unmarried girls having children was still in place?

    Of course not.

In fact, Milwaukee is what it is because hardly any social stigmas still exist.

People have been brought up in this day and age to believe that it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks, that as long as you feel good, it doesn’t matter. Societal norms, stigmas, and practices are widely disregarded.

Women are actually brought up to be indirectly encouraged to have kids out of wedlock. “You don’t need a man,” they’re told by idiotic feminists and counselors.

Social welfare systems don’t help either.

Jenna it all boils down to one catch phrase –

    “Don’t Judge Me”

I don’t think there is one singular cause to many of the problems that are seen in the inner city. Suggesting that there is one is like suggesting that one snow flake is more at fault than another in an avalanche.

I’m not saying it’s the entire cause, Nick.

However (to use your analogy), something sets off the avalanche. And I think the dissolution of the family is an excellent candidate for that.
