Harry Potter theme park?

June 14th, 2007

I can’t believe I missed that Warner Brothers is
building a Harry Potter theme park in Orlando,
viagra generic sales Florida.

Though I have to say it’s rather funny that they’re recreating Hogwarts in a country that doesn’t even seem to exist in the books.

I’ve always thought J.K. Rowling purposefully excluded the U.S. from her series.

After all, online if Britain really was the home to magic, it’s unlikely that it would have been eclipsed by a mere colony.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the Harry Potter books and I’m a major league anglophile, but would it kill her to throw in a medicine man exchange student or something? ;)

And I thought I was the only one thinking that.

At the beginning of one of her later books, she does reference a president of another country in a disparaging way.

I took it to be Bush, but I may be way off base.

    Disparage Bush? People do that?
