From Where I Sit is finally sitting pretty on Charlie Sykes’ blogroll!

February 6th, 2006

It looks like Charlie Sykes just added From Where I Sit to his blogroll.

Thank you, sildenafil shop Charlie.

And while I’m at it, viagra I Jessica McBride and the guys at Boots and Sabers recently added me to their “reading lists.”

I’ll try to continue to give them reasons to keep me there.

(And reasons for the rest of you to keep coming back here.)

Sykes Writes, viagra sale McBride’s Media Matters, and Boots and Sabers are three of the biggest cheeses in the Wisconsin Cheddarsphere, so I really appreciate the inclusions.

Thanks, folks.

I enjoy your writing, although I don’t always agree. Keep it up and congrats on you blogroll-worthiness! BIIIIG SMILE!

    Thanks.

And I think it would be a very boring world if everyone agreed.

    Wouldn’t you agree?

Somehow I always find it interesting that people feel the need to gloat over being on a blogroll. Is Charlie Sykes really that big of a deal that finding out that he reads your blog is worthy of congratulations? Or is this just my sneaky way of being bitter over being left off his blog roll time and time again without coming right and and saying I’m bitter… not that I’m bitter… at all.

    Congrats anyway. ;)

Not gloating so much as grateful.

I’m thankful whenever anyone considers From Where I Sit worthy of recommending.

And because Charlie and Jessica have a presence on media outlets that extend beyond the circle of common blog readers, being on their “reading lists” is one possible route to reaching a larger audience.

But I don’t value being on their blogroll any more than I value being on yours, or Jenna’s, or James,
or Grump’s, or Fred’s (who was the first to put me on his blogroll).

(My apologizes to all the folks I missed. (Except Aaron, of course. ;) )

And you’re on my roll, Nick. ;)

    Always have been.

I’ve always enjoyed Charlie’s show, as well as his books. I’ve also found interesting reading because of his blogroll, so I’d crow and strut if I were you. Being that you’re in a wheel chair, you get free wheelies in public. I was in one for a while. I don’t miss it.

To quickly correct your understandable (and not uncommon) misimpression about Elliot.

No deception intended, just poetic license.

Guess I should have read the About bit. My bad.. Where’d that statement originate??? And why, oh why did I just say it??
