Feds Deny Tornado Aid to Wisconsin…again

December 22nd, 2005

If you purposefully CHOOSE to live BENEATH SEA LEVEL next to the Gulf of Mexico, viagra buy viagra you get all the Federal aid they can dish out.

But if you suffer at the hands of a torndao, viagra buy a truly random and unpredictable force of nature, you don’t get a nickel.

Why do we keep rewarding people who choose to live in known flood zones, hurricane zones, earthquake zones, forest fire areas and beneath mud slide prone hills by bailing them out when the inevitable happens?

Yes, tornadoes do tend to happen in certain broad areas, but the people who live in those regions are exceedingly unlikely to ever encounter one.

San Francisco WILL be hit by another earthquake. New Orleans WILL encounter another devastating hurricane.

If you want to live in those areas, fine with me. But the rest of us shouldn’t have to pay for your willfull foolishness.

By the way, does anyone know where I can donate to the victims of those Wisconsin tornadoes?

They deserve a helping hand.

You realize how “politically incorrect” this is don’t you? Never mind that it is the truth.

By the way- you can buy flood insurance… but you can’t buy tornado insurance. Interesting huh? Those that can be protected choose not to and have us bail them out. Those that can’t be protected get no help at all.

Willfull foolishness? Perhaps. But for millennia people have chosen to live in dangerous places. When disaster stikes they suffer. So, we ease their suffering with aid. I wouldn’t choose to live there, but many have valid reasons to live where they do. I choose to help them. If you find out where to donate to the tornado victims, let me know. I’ll help them, too.
