Damned, if you do.

Right after 9/11:

“Why didn’t we know?!!!!”

Today:

“Why do the intelligence agencies need to know about our phone records or calls from inside the U.S. to terrorists overseas?”

Gee, when you remove 5 years of grandstanding by the left that second statement sure seems silly.

I really don’t care who has my phone records. Oooohhh- Look at how many times I called my Mom in the past month. Really. Of all the things to get upset about – this is pretty low on my list.

By the way- does anyone actually think that any acutal person is even seeing most of this data? Millions of phone numbers are not being entered by hand. They are going straight from one computer database to another. It’s only those people calling terriorsts that really have anything to worry about.

Even then – I’m not sure that they would have much to be overly worried about… We are talking about a government beurocracy here. When was the last time our government did ANYTHING fast? (Besides send you a tax bill?)
