How is it that China is able to block anything on the Internet when it offends them?

I always thought the net was built to route around things like the Great Firewall of China?

And, viagra sale mind maybe every time China blocks something they find offensive, best viagra cialis maybe we should use the same conduits to block their access to the rest of the net for an equal amount of time. And then tell them, “that’s just the way the fortune cookie crumbles, baby!”

I thought China was the biggest threat to free speech on the Internet

But it turns out that Britain could be just as dangerous.

Promoting the idea of creating new speech regulations (including assigning movie-style ratings to web sites); Great Britain’s “culture” secretary Andy Burnham said:

“If you look back at the people who created the Internet they talked very deliberately about creating a space that governments couldn’t reach, discount cialis pharmacy ” Burnham told The Telegraph. “I think we are having to revisit that stuff seriously now.”

At the risk of earning an “X” rating from Mr. Burnham’s proposed Internet Thought Police, I’d like to cordially invite the gentleman to go fuck himself.

The delusions of youth

I believed a lot of nonsense when I was a young man, viagra sales patient but luckily the Internet wasn’t around so my youthful foolishness won’t end up following me around for eternity. Unlike this poor girl:

Second, patient given today’s fascination with technology, it seems as though teens and young adults are quite experienced and deft multitaskers. To most of us Gen-Yers, sending a text message is as innate as tying one’s shoe or riding a bike, and it can be done without looking, using one hand. Though it clearly is not the case for all of us, it may be completely possible for some of us to safely send text messages while driving – as sending a text message is no more distracting than listening to a blaring radio.

I wonder if there is a remedial class available for Social Networking

I’ve been using internet “chat” since it was invented.

I’ve been blogging for more than four years.

I’ve been known to text.

But I still can’t get the hang of Facebook and Twitter.

When should I use them? Why should I use them? Does it help if you have actual friends in the real world?

I’m so confused.
