Can someone explain the Badger Blog Alliance to me?

October 16th, 2006

I’m not trying to be an ass…hell, viagra health I’m an ass often enough without trying, treat but can someone explain the Badger Blog Alliance to me?

All the bloggers associated with it are excellent and I read nearly every one of their blogs every day, so why would I go to Badger Blog Alliance to read their posts?

Isn’t it just redundant?

Maybe I’m missing something (it wouldn’t be the first time), so I’m hoping someone can explain it to me.

That is a good question we are try and have always been trying to get people to write more original stuff at the BBA. When it was originally started by Jib it was hoped it would be more like the NRO’s corner where people RE back and forth all day.

One of the hardest things about writing at a group blog is giving up what you think a good post that you could post at your own personal blog. For some it is hard to give up the traffic.

Have we done a great job at the BBA lately no but we have done an ok job we are in a constant state of flux people come and people go from blogging and to a lesser extent the BBA we would be welcome to any new ideas you have and we are always looking for new posters who want to post stuff there.

for some of the smaller newer blogs a post has a better chance of getting seen and linked too by an A-list blog if its at the BBA.

So Elliot have you thought about joining the exciting world of group blogging yet?????

we also throw kick ass picnics and have a great xmas party :)

Some people would say I don’t even have enough ideas for one site, Chris. ;)

I always thought the same thing myself Elliot… especially since the number of posts have been down recently, despite the growing list of bloggers.

Maybe the problem is that blogger isn’t the right engine to use for that idea… since its harder to be alerted when someone else posted something that you might want to respond to, if the idea was to have an NRO style thing.
