I can’t think of a conservative or republican the mainstream media would not depict as dumb, repressive, uncaring or outside the mainstream.

They are without context as only their POV is smart, progressive, caring and mainstream.

Elliot, you’re saying they’d be wrong to do so?

Second question – is Fox News “mainstream media”?

    Maybe.

    And damn if I know.

After looking over the Republican candidates, the media would probably be right. It’s almost like the GOP is trying to push Obama into a second term.

Gary Johnson! He’s pro-immigration, wants pot, doesn’t like all the wars… he’s like a Democrat in Republican clothing (ie – a Libertarian). Of course, the GOP would hate him then.

Yeah, blame the mainstream media, when we all know the GOP is ready to RINO anyone who doesn’t toe the line.

“Second question – is Fox News “mainstream media”?”

    Absolutely, Alan Colmes works there.
