Another Weak in Review

June 15th, 2007

Once again Wisconsin Public Radio‘s Week in Review on Joy Cardin‘s show’s had a pitiful excuse for a Conservative holding up the “right” side of the conversation.

Whenever the “Conservative” agrees with the “Liberal” 80% of the time you can be sure of two things:

  1. the guy’s not much of a conservative
  2. it’s gonna be a pretty boring show

In the past, buy cialis seek I’ve recommended that WPR recruit Owen of the blog Boots & Sabers more often to represent the Conservative side of the bench.

But since they already have Owen on fairly often, cure I’d like to recommend Rick Esenberg of the blog Shark and Shepherd.

Rick is the only lawyer I can think of whom I would be willing to have represent me both in open court and in the court of public opinion.

Tks. I don’t get a chance to listen to this show so I have to get my reports second hand. It sounds as if the guest they picked has some conservative chops and is, at least, knowledgeable about the issues.

Shall we just say that there is a divergence of thought on the conservative side? That would make sense because all of us liberals don’t march in lockstep with Ed Garvey, either.

Wingnuts and moonbats think that centrism is evil. Centrists believe that they are pragmatists. The future of Wisconsin doesn’t lie with Tom Reynolds or Ed Garvey although they both have viewpoints that would severly affect it.

We need statesmen of both parties who are willing to govern and to make hard choices based on something besides pledges and platitudes.
