    Your link name is incorrect and extremely misleading.

    Article name: “MPS per-pupil spending fourth highest among largest districts”

    Fourth highest among largest districts.

    The US Census report released today shows MPS is ranked 27th in per-pupil spending when compared against all districts in Wisconsin alone. How can they possibly be 4th highest in the US when they’re 27th in Wisconsin alone? Bad math is bad.

    I didn’t write the link. I used the WordPress “press this” javascript. It takes the headline and makes a link automatically. The only thing I wrote on this post was my headline.

    I suspect the Journal Sentinel changed their headline after I made my post. Partial proof of that can be seen in the fact that their url is still:

    I actually read the link the JS supplied and they had nothing about comparing the top 50 US cities, so the JS screwed up.
    However, Wisconsin is 20th in the country in spending per kid.
