For new (and maybe some old) visitors

Hi folks, welcome to From Where I Sit.
From Where I Sit is a three-year-old blog written by a libertarian agnostic.
I tend to post inconsequential thoughts on consequential matters.
My daily readers number in the high hundreds. (Between RSS subscriptions and daily visits, I estimate between 600 and 900 unique visitors a day (and more who are just occasional readers)). They come from all over the political spectrum and tend to be smarter and funnier than I am.
I ask three things from everyone who comes here:
- Be respectful of each other as human beings.
- Tear the hell out of each other’s arguments.
- Try not to be more amusing in the comments than I was in the main post (this particular request is ignored entirely).
