Who’s really being disingenous on the illegal immigrant issue?

Really? So illegal immigrants must all be staying right in those border states? They never…
And certainly there isn’t a Democrat mayor there to greet them with “Buenas tardes.” I suppose the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel just forgot their fawning coverage of the “Day Without Immigrants” rally in Milwaukee. |

Or their story on the local Labor Day parade where advocates for illegal immigrants outnumbered representatives of organized labor?
Of course, the Wisconsin governor doesn’t have to make policy about the border…but we do need policies to deal with the illegals who are already here. The Journal Sentinel’s attempts to dismiss this issue as irrelevant is just as partisan and disingenous as they keep accusing |

Surprise surprise… The Union movement realized years ago that latinos actually died to start unions in their home countries. Most of those people are already unionized or will be soon… which is good. Then wages will go back up and the cheap labor issue will be eliminated since the busting of the unions is the reason immigrants come to this country in the first place (ie as soon as employers didn’t have to deal with union labor anymore, they found cheap labor just south of us and shipped them here). Americans WILL want those jobs again because they will pay a living wage and be safe to work again and we will again have a middle class in America… Sometimes this stuff seems so simple!

You bring up an interesting point.
I’ve always thought the politics around immigration were weird on both sides.
I like immigration.
I acutally think it should be easier to immigrate legally.
But I don’t think people who violated our laws should be rewarded.
