Listen guys, it’s either OK when both sides do it or not OK when either side does it. You can’t have it both ways.

I remember when being called a hypocrite was an insult

I always thought that the Internet would cut down on hypocrisy.

It’s so much easier to point it out now and a simple Google search exposes most cases of hypocrisy in seconds.

But instead of going away, viagra sales malady the ubiquity of hypocrisy just seems to be removing the stigma.

Now, none of the Democrats who supported President Obama speaking to students seem to care that when the first George Bush did the exact same thing Congressional Democrats actually held investigations over it.

And there’s no shame that the Democrats in Massachusetts want to change the law to allow the Democratic governor to appoint a replacement for Edward Kennedy after THEY changed it in the first place to prevent a Republican governor from appointing a replacement for Senator Kerry.

And Michael Moore can charge you money to see a documentary that calls for the abolishment of capitalism and no one blinks twice.

All my examples here are Democrats, but Republicans are no better.

And no one cares. The more brazen a hypocrite you are, the more likely you are to get away with it.

What are we going to have to do to reinvigorate “hypocrite” as an insult?

Make people wear a Scarlett H?

Bring back the stocks?

Or maybe just start holding people accountable again for saying one thing and doing another?

See! Abortion is murder. (Except when it’s not.)

Why is using RU-486 to kill a fetus murder when the father does it, viagra canada order but a Constitutionally-protected right when the mother does?

I have a question about the “N” word.

James T. Harris at The National Conversation talks about why so many African-Americans think it’s OK for blacks to use the “N” word while requiring that anyone else who says it be severely punished.

My question is:

Why is it any more right to have black-only words than it was to have white-only drinking fountains?

Don’t misunderstand me. I don’t want the right to say the word myself. I think it’s the most despicable word in the English language. But different rules for different groups sure sounds like racism to me.

Who are the real hypocrites?

Cheating on your spouse is despicable whether carried out in the Oval Office or in the House of Representatives.

Some people want to call Newt Gingrich a hypocrite for having his own affair while leading the charge against Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinski scandal.

I have a different take, buy cialis ed the real hypocrites are every Conservative who condemned Clinton’s morals and are now splitting hairs trying to defend Gingrich and every Liberal who said Clinton’s personal life shouldn’t matter and are now hooting with glee over Gingrich’s revelation.

I’m not sure about Jesus being appalled, but I am.

Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards thinks Jesus would be ‘appalled’ by American’s selfishness:

“I think that Jesus would be disappointed in our ignoring the plight of those around us who are suffering and our focus on our own selfish short-term needs, discount cialis sovaldi ” Edwards told the site. “I think he would be appalled, levitra actually.”

Speaking of selfish…I can’t remember, how big is John Edwards house again?

Oh yeah, 28,200 square feet.

Seems like John treats himself pretty well.

If John is serious about getting in good with Jesus, maybe he needs to sell his giant house and donate all his money to churches and charities.

He could also become a conservative considering that conservatives are much more likely to give to the needy.

But I know neither of those things will happen because certain folks on the Left are always a lot more enthusiastic about solving the world’s problems with my money than they are with solving them using their own.

Maybe I’m expecting too much from an awards show named after a guy

Considering how politically correct the Oscars have become, buy viagra recipe why are they still giving away a Best Actor AND a Best Actress Oscar?

Aren’t they all just actors?

Isn’t it sexist to seperate the two?

To be politically consistent, sildenafil the Oscars should either have a single award for best actor…or, as they would probably prefer, have multiple awards for best actor, best actress, best hispanic actor, best lesbian actress, best straight woman playing a lesbian, and so on.

Free speach for me, but not for thee

The nice thing about students literally repressing Minutemen founder Jim Gilchrist‘s speech at Columbia University last night is that it reminds us that some on the Left in America have actually come to believe that free speach means nothing more than shouting down anyone who disagrees with you.

As one of the students said:

“I don’t feel like we need to apologize or anything. It was fundamentally a part of free speech. … The Minutemen are not a legitimate part of the debate on immigration.”

It stunneds me that this student can’t see the irony in believing that HIS free speech gives him the right to decide who else deserves to be heard.

What are they teaching at Columbia?

And how many of these students are attending the Columbia School of Journalism?

Isn’t it ironic

…that the type of people who are criticizing George Bush for calling radical Muslim terrorists Islamic fascists are the same people who have been calling George Bush a fascist for years?
