$17.71 a year?

March 13th, 2006

That’s approximately how much I would have saved if the proposed Wisconsin Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights had been in effect in Wisconsin over the last 20 years.*

I have to admit to being mildly disappointed.

* According to a Legislative Fiscal Bureau report and some very rough math. (The total per person could easily be at least twice as much because of population growth in Wisconsin over the last 20 years, viagra canada medical but who has time to solve complex equations?)

Don’t forget to factor in the increased cost of maintaining the services cut from the property tax. Add in the extra frustration of dealing with the Service Industry in a time of falling educational spending and that double sawbuck disappears pretty fast.
